Annet Mahendru
Mahendru was born to her Russian mother and Hindu Indian father in Afghanistan. She speaks fluently German Russian English. Annet Mahendru, born in India to a Russian father and an Indian mother, speaks fluently in both languages. In 2011, she created choreography that gained her the opportunity to appear on German television as a Russian snowmaiden. She later became a Indian dancer. After high school, she graduated with a bachelor's diploma in English from New York. She took classes in acting in the HB Studios, but then moved on to pursue improvised comedy at The Groundlings School. Her parents were an Afghani Hindu-Indian mother and Russian father from Kabul, Afghanistan. The family moved together with their father to East Meadow, New York, when she was 13 years old. She stars in FX's The Americans alongside Matthew Rhys. TV actress best known for her role as the former KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova, on FX's The Americans. She had a recurring part in Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
